Hello. My name is Gemma and I am a BACP-registered Integrative Therapist. I offer a warm, open and confidential space that can help you work through whatever issue brings you to therapy.
So far I have worked with a diverse range of issues including: anxiety, depression, difficult family relationships, domestic violence, relationship difficulties, heartbreak, creative blocks, infidelity, sense of belonging, childhood sexual abuse, infertility, eating disorders, early-menopause diagnosis, identity, sexuality, low-self esteem, bereavement, racial identity, experiences of racism and trauma.

I am from a dual-heritage background and use my insight into diversity in my work as a therapist. I hold a space that is inclusive of members from all backgrounds, identities and life experiences. I offer an LGBTQIA+ inclusive space.

Before becoming a therapist I had a long career in childcare. I worked alongside many families to help cultivate a safe and nurturing environments for their children. Bringing this into my current day world of psychotherapy I believe wounds and messages sustained in childhood can play some part in how we move in the world as adults and I think therapy can offer us a space to challenge and explore these.

I have a Level 7 Diploma in Integrative Counselling from The Minster Centre, where I am also completing a MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and work within their Ethical Framework.
